The word Begampura has been taken from the universal great word “BegampuraSaharkonaau” of Gauri Rag by Sri Guru RavidasJi. This word is recorded on page 345 of the blessed Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The full word is “BegampuraSahar” from Begamp means be-gam, meaning free from sorrow, full of joy and Pura means city or place of residence. Sahar means world homeland. The overall meaning: – world homeland whose name is Begampura, which is full of supreme joy. The man of this country is free from all kinds of suffering, social, moral, educational, religious etc. and is also free from worry and anxiety. We have added the word mission to Begampura, which means the aim of establishing Begampura in the world.
